Euchroite is a rare hydrated copper arsenate and this showy small miniature is from the famous old copper mine Type Locality - Lubietova. A sharp, 7 mm, lustrous, translucent, rich emerald-green crystal is aesthetically set against smaller crystals and bruised crystals atop the laminated, oxide-coated muscovite schist matrix. Older material, undoubtably from pre-World War II. Highly representative of species and locale.
