Item Description

It is not common to find well-terminated crystals of Ettringite - especially measuring over 4 cm - and now that there is little material available on the market, they are certainly in demand. This specimen is a well-formed, fairly sharp, euhedral, translucent, prismatic, soft lemon yellow colored hexagonal crystal associated with black Hausmannite on the back for a nice touch. No real damage, per se, though there is some interrupted growth on the reverse side where the Hausmannite can be seen. A showy and good quality representation of these classic Ettringites from the N'Chwaning Mines. Priced at $1,250 in the inventory.
