Ettringite on Calcite

This is an unusual large combination piece which features translucent, gemmy yellow ettringites with a sulfur-like color but more luster, decorating a large calcite rhombohedron. The ettringites run to 2 cm in size. From 1980s finds here, this is classic material, now quite harder to come by, from the old Charlie Key dealer stocks which I bought out. Some ettringite is dull and matte finish, but these crystals are the jewel-like, bright style, and overall the piece is very, very pretty on a shelf as well as being a great example of the species.
