Item Description

A single 2.8 cm, sharp, lustrous, bright canary-yellow Ettringite crystal intergrown in the back with a small amount of charlesite, the colorless and related species (they often transition within the same crystal, though seldom with such sharply contrasting zonation). The translucent crystal has incredible pearly luster, is actually doubly-terminated, and has textbook, hexagonal crystal form. The large size and rich, shimery luster create huge visual appeal. A highly representative specimen of the species from one of the famous Nchwaning Mines of South Africa, and the Charlie Key Collection. Very aesthetic.
