Ettringite

Item Description

Sharp, translucent, terminated, greenish-yellow, trigonal, ettringite crystals to 1.4 cm are aesthetically and richly scattered on the large plate from an unknown mine in the well-known Kalahari Manganese Field. The thin vein of gemmy, colorless, calcite or apophyllite crystals running diagonally across the plate is a nice accent. Excellent and showy large material.
