Dramatically sculptural large heavily etched tabular spodumene crystal from the well-known pegmatites at Pech. We have seen hundreds, thousands, of spodumene crystals from this region over the last 40 years or so but nothing quite like this...it is so sculptural and different. The striking yellow-green triphane varietal is transparent to translucent and has typical waxy luster. It is big, showy, and visually interesting, one of the better ones from a pocket we purchased in 2020. The holes and form add a spectacular quality to the highly unusual piece. Valued at $5000-6000.
