Item Description
An unusually etched bi-colored tourmaline thumbnail from the Pederneira Mine. The lower portion of this lustrous, well-striated crystal is translucent, olive-green. The base is strikingly etched and the crystal wall has a nifty chatoyant look from being partially resorbed. A beautiful, gemmy, 7 mm, teal-blue section is followed by a narrow, 1 mm, grass-green zone, just below the mirror-bright, purple-black termination. All-in-all, a very showy and unusual Pederneira tourmaline. 14 grams.
