Item Description

Classic, hefty 4-color zinc ore from the famous Franklin Mine with in very rare white esperite (Type Locality). Primary fluorescents include: esperite, greenish-yellow; willemite, green; rare hardystonite, violet-blue (Type Locality) and just a bit of calcite, red. Much black franklinite is in this specimen. Ex David Burgess Collection, for whom Burgessite is named. OLD CLASSIC !!! a large piece, rare today.
