This is a stunning competition level display miniature of a classic find and a rare mineral species. Splendid cluster of radiating sharp crystals of the cobalt mineral Erythrite, from the heralded Bou Azzer Mine in Morocco. Erythrites are instantly recognizable for their sensational, rich magenta color that is usually enhanced by a superb, glassy luster on the flat faces. When the Erythrite is thin enough to see the gemminess, the glow, combined with the glassy, flat faces, makes the Erythrite look like polished, magenta glass just waiting to be incorporated into a Tiffany mosaic. Up to 2 cm in length, these slender crystals together make an unusual, and super-aesthetic spray that displays beautifully on the matrix.
