Erythrite (large plate!)

A rarity in this size and richness!: A shallow vug is lined with lustrous and partially gemmy, magenta-colored crystals of erythrite, to 1.2 cm in length. The smallest and most slender crystals are totally gemmy. All the core crystals are intact, though there are admittedly some spots of damage here and there. This is a beautiful cabinet sized plate that you rarely see for sale, and should be valued $1500 or so.
