Item Description

A classic 40+ year old miniature sized specimen from the famous Aghbar Mine featuring sharp, lustrous, bladed, purple-red color Erythrite crystals measuring up to 5 mm on Skutterudite matrix. Now this might not be the finest example of the species ever found, but I can promise when it came out it was a big deal because nobody had seen Erythrite like this before. It should be noted that Erythrite would not be a well known species with out the amazing pieces from Morocco. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#1951). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
