Item Description
Stunning iridescent purplish-red magenta translucent erythrite prisms, to 1.3 cm, dramatically and richly cover the top of the miniature matrix plate on this exceptional specimen. The rich cobalt-nickel deposits at Bou Azzer have easily produced the world's finest examples of the species. Ex Bill Pinch Collection. Bill was a renowned collector, mineral researcher, author and dealer who assembled several world-class collections. He passed away in 2017.
