Epistilbite and Stilbite

Item Description

Distinctive pair of fanlike stilbites adjoined in a very attractive cluster 6.7 cm across, nestled together on a thin plate of classic Deccan trap basalt. The stilbites have fine luster and what is best described as a raw umber color. The primary fan is 4.5 cm across, and is composed of individual stilbite blades 2.5 cm long. The plate is coated with mm-size Quartz crystals with a few larger Stilbite blades accenting the piece. Quite aesthetic - with a small epistilbite between them, as a bonus
