Item Description

An excellent Epidote with Quartz combination specimen from Peru! It has a large, divergent cluster of lustrous Epidote crystals to three inches in length perched on the tips of numerous, silky, terminated, 4 mm to 1.4 cm Quartz crystals. There is one larger, 1.5 inch transparent Quartz crystal running horizontally across the front of the Epidote spray and several other one inch, or so, Quartz crystals in a spray at the top left of the Epidote. There are also over a half dozen, 1 to 2 cm glassy, green, isolated Epidote crystals set on the finely-terminated smaller Quartz crystals on the right side of the piece. Nicely balanced with great presentation! Harvey Gordon and others brought many of these out in the mid 1990s, of this classic style and combination.
