Item Description
From the famous Alpine collection of Richard A. Kosnar. This classic specimen is filled with dozens of gemmy, richly colored, extra virgin olive oil-green colored prisms of Epidote which are associated with minor blue-green Diopside on matrix. The largest Epidote crystal measures up a full 1.0 cm, which is great for the locality, and I have photographed the smaller crystals under the microscope to better illustrate their quality. A great reference piece of this hard to find material from the Italian Alps. If you like Epidote, or good Alpine specimens, don't miss out on this one.
