Item Description

This is a sharp miniature cluster of Epidote from Imilchil, Morocco. It consists of several, super lustrous, dark pistachio green, flattened prismatic crystals with the largest measuring 3.5 cm long by 1.5 cm wide. The crystals have perfect, chisel-shaped terminations and are randomly intergrown. The Epidote crystals sit on a pair of brown-black, satin lustered Andradite crystals. The piece is complete all around except for the contact on the bottom of the garnets where it was attached to the pocket.
