Epidote w/ Quartz (RARE - New Find)

Epidote is EXTREMELY RARE from this renowned gem mining area and this is the first specimen we have seen from a brand New Find. Sharp, highly lustrous, translucent tabular crystals cover the impressive plate and have rich light and dark olive-green color. When backlit, crystals GLOW with rich olive-green to clove-brown gemminess! The impressive, pristine edge crystal is 3.0 x 1.8 x 0.9 cm. The base of the plate is richly covered with RARE quartz points, to 2.3 cm, as a super accent. Scattered broken epidote crystals are noted, but this remains an extremely rich, very rare, showy and excellent combination example of this new find.
