Epidote w/ Prehnite

Item Description

An impressive, large, 360-degree, column of sharp epidote prisms accented with three, mostly hidden prehnite botryoids from Mali. The epidotes are dark olive-green, highly lustrous, partially translucent and have bright gemmy areas, when strongly lit. The striking doubly terminated crystal at the top is 6.0 cm. For the size, this dramatic piece has very few broken crystals, all on the back side. Valued at $600-700.
