A fantastic, large, 360-degree, column of sharp epidote prisms accented with prehnite botryoids and starkly contrasting, snow-white feldspar. The epidotes are highly lustrous, partially translucent, dark olive-green and reach 4.3 cm. The striking cluster at the top is pristine and several crystals are doubly terminated. The lustrous and translucent, mint-green prehnites have frosted surfaces. For the size, this impressive large piece has trivial side wear, restricted to 2 or 3 small areas. Valued at $1000.
