Prince of Wales Island epidotes are about the finest epidotes the US has to offer and never came out in quantity. This dramatic large piece features aesthetically intergrown sharp, highly lustrous, black with startling olive-green gemmy zones accented with a few quartz points. The striking central crystal is 6.2 x 3.0 x 3.0 cm. The interior of the piece is in excellent shape, with only a bit of contacting and bruising to the front of the large crystal. The periphery wear has minimal impact to the excellent quality of this fine large piece. Large pieces, like this are not on the market very often.
