Epidote pocket w/ Quartz

Item Description

An impressive, large and sculptural vug is fully lined with lustrous, pistachio-green, fan-like epidote blades and strikingly accented with glassy quartz points, to 3.3 cm, from this less well-known deposit. Epidote and quartz combinations are rare from here and this is an exceptionally rich and fine example. Specimens such as this date to the late 1990s. From an East Coast Collection.
