Epidote on Quartz (Trimingham Coll.)

Lustrous, partially translucent, parallel-growth clusters of olive-green epidote crystals are aesthetically scattered on the large sculptural quartz crystal matrix. The impressive, large, radial epidote cluster is 4.0 cm across, which is quite large for the locale. The bit of edge wear to the large epidote cluster and small bit of scattered periphery wear (mostly on the back side) are noted, but certainly only have minimal impact to the overall fine quality given the size and showiness of the piece.
