Item Description
An odd locality specimen featuring thin, prismatic, dark green colored crystals of Epidote measuring up to 1.9 cm long sitting on a single, gemmy, slightly smoky colored prism of Quartz. The back of the termination of the Quartz crystal has an interrupted growth, but it's not broken, as it's fully crystallized. A cool oddball piece for any fan of California minerals or worldwide Epidotes. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#9283). Kay was a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics. She nearly lived 100 years from April 1920 - March 2020.
