Epidote on Quartz

What an dramatic, yet elegant, specimen! This spray of lustrous, well-terminated Epidote crystals is perched right on a matrix of silky Quartz crystals! The longest of the deep green Epidotes average about 6 cm, while the largest Quartz crystal is about 7.5 cm. The main Epidotes are in excellent condition, as is the Quartz. This is a really an aesthetic combination specimen, and much better in person. From the mid-90s.
