Epidote included Quartz

This is a new find from Brazil from what I'm told. They are beautiful and very large stones consisting of rich virgin olive oil green color Epidote included in gem quality, colorless Quartz. This stone has a "Flat Square Emerald" cut, but was not faceted completely, as there really is no crown, but just a large table. The gem is very attractive, and is one of the few I have seen. For the size and quality, I would say that this is a fantastic collector's stone. Considering what I have seen the Italians and Japanese paying for Rutilated Quartz, I would guess that these gems will be just as popular for jewelry, for a fraction of the price. I can only find two gem dealers anywhere who are selling this material, and their prices range from $20 to $50 per carat for these gems. I hope everybody takes advantage of this unique, large and attractive stone.
