Epidote included Quartz

This is a new find from Brazil from what I'm told. These stones consistof rich virgin olive oil green color Epidote included in gem quality, colorless Quartz. This stone has a "Flat Square Emerald" cut, but was not faceted completely, as there really is no crown, but just a large table. The gem is very attractive, and is one of the few I have seen. For the size and quality, I would say that this is a fantastic collector's stone. Considering what I have seen the Italians and Japanese paying for Rutilated Quartz, I would guess that these gems will be just as popular for jewelry, for a fraction of the price. I can only find two gem dealers anywhere who are selling this material, and their prices range from $20 to $50 per carat for these gems. I hope everybody takes advantage of this unique, large and attractive stone.
