Item Description

Epidote crystals in this large thumbnail size are rare from this well-known Italian locale. This is a very fine, blocky, glassy, gemmy, olive-green crystal with sharp faces. The lower front is contacted, but there is no damage, per se. A large, single epidote, the contact on the back is out-of-sight. Ex Will Henderson Collection. His label says Val Antrona, Switzerland, but this crystal is identical (blocky form) to epidote from Val Antrona, Italy. Outstanding and classic for this locality.
