Item Description

This sharp, fine, older epidote crystal is from a lesser-known epidote locality in Baja California, south of the resort town of Ensenada. The prism faces are highly lustrous, while the termination is lightly etched with moderate luster. The crystal is actually slightly translucent - you can see flashes of green where light penetrates the lustrous faces. Complete all-around and pristine. Excellent material from the Dave Stoudt Collection # 405. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
