Item Description

Knappenwand epidotes are certainly one of the great Euorpean localities and species. This is a showy and excellent parallel-growth cluster of tabular prisms. The crystals are partially gemmy and have classic rich clove-brown to olive-green color. The well-striated crystals have extreme glassiness and very high luster. One crystal is doubly terminated. The crystals GLOW, when backlit. The multiple terminations have only a trivial bit of bruising and one spot of side edge wear is noted. Classic material. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
