A rare and significant combination from this less well-known Mexican skarn deposit, south of the resort town of Ensenada in Baja, California. A dramatic spray of lustrous, deep olive-green epidote crystals is aesthetically set on the front of the quartz and epidote matrix. The prominent large epidote is 5.0 cm and is terminated. Epidote and quartz combinations of this richness and quality are rare and desirable from here. Older material. Try to find another like it.
