Item Description
An aesthetic fan of slender, tabular Epidote crystals to 6.4 cm from the Rosario Mabel claim in Peru. These fans are a distinctive habit for the locality, and the dark, black-green crystals are lustrous. Adding greatly to the quality of this small cabinet specimen are not one, but TWO doubly-terminated Quartz crystals that are aesthetically attached to the fan. These Quartz crystals range up to 4.2 cm, and they are gemmy with a silky luster that gives them body. A fine Peruvian Epidote specimen, to be sure. From the extensive collection of Bob Reynolds, who cherished both minerals and fossils as he collected. Bob is a prolific author and has had several curating positions in museums.
