Epidote and Humboldtine

Item Description

Excellent cluster of sharp, highly prismatic Epidote crystals from the well-known locality of Garnet Hill. The dark, green-black Epidotes range up to 1.1 cm, and they are liberally coated with yellow Humboldtine. The dramatic contrast in colors and tone adds greatly to the aesthetics, and really makes the Epidotes stand out. Possibly older material, this is the best of these combinations I have seen, and it was #12,692 in Kay's collection.
