Item Description
Epidote specimens from Peru seem to come sporadically and each find seems to have a uniqueness to it. This particular spray consists of a combination of pistachio green and dark green areas along the length of the crystals in the divergent spray. The crystals form a lovely fan that displays well from either side. One side shows small Quartz crystals that are accompanied by some pale peach colored clay and the other side has very little if any. The staggered crystals on both sides of the fan show scintillating terminations whereas the tops of the crystals at the apex of the piece are variably terminated, but not readily noticeable. This is a super example for its size from famous finds in the mid-1990s.
