Epidote

Item Description

A rarely seen specimen of Swiss Alpine Epidote. I say rare as Austria, Italy and France all produce better quality specimens of Epidote of the four major Alpine countries. This piece came with a scrap of paper stating it was from Zermatt (possibly the Gorner Glacier?) and features a 7 mm, golden-green color crystal sitting on matrix. If you collect Epidotes, Alpine minerals or interesting micros, don't miss out on this one.
