A beautiful specimen of Epidote from the TYPE LOCALITY in France featuring sharp, thin, prismatic, lustrous, GEM to gemmy olive-oil colored crystals on matrix. The crystals measure up to 1.6 cm, but the smaller crystals are arguably the most attractive as several of them are textbook in habit with absolute water clear transparency.
