Item Description

First-class cluster of five (there is one on the back) sharp, well-terminated Epidote crystals from the famous old Namibian locale - some people compare these to the great ones from Austria, even. The luster on these deep green, tabular crystals is superb, and the faces have the typical lengthwise striations so often seen on Epidotes. The terminations are sharp, and the geometry of this cluster is quite architectural. They definitely look like a city skyline when orienteded vertically. The largest of the crystals is 3.8 cm long and 1 cm wide. An excellent specimen of a not very common species from this locality - found over 30 years ago, according to Charlie Key. Valued highly
