Item Description
Here is an aesthetic, jackstraw-like cluster of lustrous, prismatic, dark olive-green Epidote crystals from the Kayes Region of Mali. This excellent, two-sided floater cluster is composed of several dozen crystals from 5 mm to 3.5 cm and all of them are essentially pristine. The Epidote crystals are in pretty much random orientation and all of them glisten with their great luster and the striations parallel to their length. They all have wedge-shaped terminations. This really is an excellent piece for the locality! From early 2000s finds brought out by Rock Currier.
