Item Description

A cool micro specimen of Eosphorite with Roscherite (?) from an undisclosed pegmatite locality near Newry. The piece comes from the collection of Allen Heyl, who bought it from the Marble collection (sold by the Rocksmiths in the 1960s). As of the time of this listing, the existence of Roscherite from Newry is in question. I'm not sure if it could be another phosphate like Greifensteinite, but for now I'm leaving Roscherite with a question mark. The crystals are small, but nice when viewed under the microscope. A nice old time piece that might be useful for research.
