Item Description
A very hard to find specimen of Eosphorite from Afghanistan featuring a group of well-formed, prismatic, rich peach-orange colored crystals measuring up to 1.2 cm, with minor Muscovite underneath. The crystal show decent translucency when backlit. We've only seen a select few pieces of this material over the years, and nothing has been found since the mid 2000s to the best of my knowledge. A nice thumbnail specimen for any fan of pegmatite minerals, phosphates or minerals of Afghanistan.
Ex Herb Obodda specimen.
