Item Description
An attractive piece from this very isolated yet exciting discovery. Rarely is Eosphorite found in such bright and gemmy crystals from any locality. Typically the species is brown and opaque, but the few pieces I have seen from Chamachu are some of the best for quality and color that I know of. This specimen hosts a few fine Eosphorite crystals with lovely orange color and nearly water-clear transparency in areas which are associated with a gem clear colorless Topaz crystal and white Albite with very pale pink bladed "Lepidolite" (no longer a valid species). If the Eosphorite crystals were just a tad bit thicker, they would yield some outstanding facetted gems. The largest crystal measures 7 mm in length. Hard to find on the market and really worthwhile for somebody familiar with Eosphorite as a species.
