Item Description

A very aesthetic specimen featuring sharp, gemmy, orange color Eosphorite crystals associated with well-defined, pale lavender color Lepidolite crystals on a grey-white Microcline crystal. The largest Eosphorite measures 9 mm long. The significance of this specimen is that Eosphorite is typically found in dark colored crystals (often a shade of brown). Back in 2007 there was a very small find at Chamachu that yielded what I would say are some of, if not THE finest color crystals of Eosphorite out there. The fact that the crystals are good sized is significant, because I might expect this kind of color in micro crystals, but when you have something like this piece with nearly 1 cm crystals is a big deal. No real damage that I can see, and it's such a showy and aesthetic piece. A great quality display specimen of this now incredibly hard to find material Priced in the inventory at $900.
