Eosphorite / Childrenite (ex Obodda Collection)

Item Description

An attractive piece from this very isolated yet exciting discovery. Rarely is Eosphorite or Childrenite found in Pakistan. Typically either species is brown and opaque, and this is a good example of said material. This specimen hosts a predominant, 1.1 cm crystal sitting atop white Albite on a partial Microcline crystal. It would have to be analyzed to determine the Mn to Fe ratio in order to know which species it is.
