Enstatite (rough and cut set)

Item Description

Enstatite is a fairly rare collectors stone, and is not often seen in clean gems over 2 carats. The stone in this rough and cut set is a very attractive Enstatite with a lovely rich peach golden color. The stone is virtually eye clean with an "Oval Brilliant" cut. You don't see many Enstatite stones from Sri Lanka this size or this color on the market. Additionally, the stone is paired up with a wonderful piece of rough from the same locality, and actually shows a slight amount of crystalline form with soft surface etching a beautiful interior color.
