Enstatite (fine color)

Enstatite is a magnesium silicate species, but it's considered to be a fairly rare collectors stone. Most of the Enstatites you'll see on the market are often on the warmer side of the spectrum, with golden or brownish hues. This particular stone is a very attractive Enstatite with a lovely and rarely seen bright GREEN hue. My guess is that the green color is due to a bit of vanadium content, but the stone hasn't been analyzed to know for certain. The stone is only very very slightly included with a "Pear" cut. A superb quality rare gem for any collector.
