Enargite with Tetrahedrite (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

Item Description

An attractive miniature display specimen featuring fine, sharp, Enargite crystals, of a fine gunmetal luster, with the characteristic blunt terminations. The crystals measure to about 1.2 cm. Small oriented Tetrahedrites can be seen all over the Enargite crystals. Fine quality, and certainly attractive for the species. The uncommon association makes it all the more enticing. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#7011). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
