Item Description
A rich, fine and rare Colorado combination specimen from the Longfellow Mine of the famous San Juans. Lustrous, jet-black, striated enargite crystals to 6 mm, with scattered iridescence, richly cover the front, top and back of this showy piece. Mirror-bright, brass-yellow pyrite microcrystals are scattered on the front and richly cover the back of the piece. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality. Classic Longfellow Mine material and comes with a faded label with a 1964 date on the back. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
