This showy, rich and excellent combination plate of solid enargite features a multitude of very sharp, coated, jet-black, enargite crystals with accenting clusters of mirror-bright, brass-yellow, pyrite octahedrons. The enargites reach a respectable 1.7 cm. The few gently bruised crystals reveal the high luster of the enargites beneath the coating. You don't see nearly as many Butte enargites on the market anymore, and they will always hold their own on a worldwide scale. A fine, older, combination specimen of this classic material.
