Item Description

Enargite and chalcocite combination specimens are a highly desirable classic from the famous Leonard Mine. This old-time, rich and showy miniature from the 1950s consists of lustrous, jet-black enargite crystals sprinkled with moderately lustrous, metallic-gray, pseudo-hexagonal chalcocite plates to 7 mm. These are actually chalcocite psuedos after covellite plates. Excellent material from the Josef Vajdak Collection.
