RARE striking spherical aggregates of sparkly metallic-gray enargite microcrystals dramatically cover the sculptural matrix of sharp, brilliant, brassy, striated pyritohedrons on this showy and excellent combination from the famous Quiruvilca Mine. Most enargites from here are primatic or bladed. The periphery wear on one edge is certainly only a modest detraction to this rare style enargite and pyrite combination. Choice material from the R.D. Mushlitz Collection. Peak specimen production from Quiruvilca was in the 1970s and 80s, with very little since. The piece has multiple display views.
