Butte enargites are a true classic among American minerals and rank among the best that exist. This aesthetic, very fine and rich, vuggy, rolling triangular combination is covered with splendent, sharp, silver-metallic, well-striated enargite crystals, contrasting bright and brassy striated pyritohedrons and a couple of dramatic sprays of water-clear quartz points along one edge. The striking, well-placed central enargite is 1.0 cm long. Classic and excellent old-time Butte combination material from the Howard Belsky Collection and comes with a Burminco label dating from the 1950s or 60s.
